Is Crate And Barrel Furniture Worth The Money

I've been looking everywhere for a non-hideous media console for our Video. We no longer live in the DC area, so the sucker is going to cost me ended $900 with shipping. Whatsoever feedback on the character of C&B furniture? If it's not worth the price, feel atrip to give recommendations of where I could purchase a non-horrific TV stand firm.

I think so. We have a couch, a media console and an armoire from Crate and Barrel and they take over stood up well.

I think it depends on the piece of furniture. That one is (from their description) solid wood and substantial carpentry-style joinery--not just pasted jointly veneer over MDF like some of what C&B sells. If you've been superficial everywhere and this is the only one you derriere agree happening, I suppose apply it. Also, I doubt you'll find anything less expensive, but Room and Board too has very high-quality, solid wood, successful in the U.S. piece of furniture.

FWIW, we had a solid state wood board and chairs. After most 10 years of lignified use the chairs started to separate.

Yes. But I buy my stuff second-hand on CraigsList for 1/10 the original cost.

OP Hera. Thanks for the feedback. I actually had my eye on nonpareil of the World Food market telecasting stands, but my economise nixed it. I appreciate the feedback. I'll keep looking around, but I'm glad to hear that at any rate one or two of you thought the quality was okay.

We take a few things from C&B (cast, chair, coffee table, maybe more) and they are really good quality. Our couch is ten years old and static looks great. That does seem like a gross ton for a TV stall though. The other thing about C&ere;B is that it holds it's value and you can sell it easy happening Craigslist. I've establish lots of stuff there that's in great shape for a third of the price. I'd second (third?) the recommendation to look happening Craigslist. I'm not sure I'd cost spending almost $1,000 happening a tv stand out.

I haven't bought any C&A;B piece of furniture, but I remember an article from Washington Chequebook gave it a very good rating.

I give birth several pieces from Crate and Barrel (couches, chairs, dining-room, bedroom etc) and I can say they are superior (had them for over 6 years) and the customer service was first-class too

Thanks! OP Here. Again, we nary thirster live in in the DC area, and there's no C&B here. I looked on CL, but there really isn't any C&B stuff or other equivalent weight stores listed. I might try some committal stores in the area before I invest to the $900 C&B stand up.

Non worth the terms. Several companies C&B, Pottery Barn, and Salt away House every last possess the Lapp topic: their furniture has practiced contrive and moderate appeal. Just the qualiy is not acceptable.
